"My friend Lady Battikah (Anna) organized this American Gothique fashion show at Mad Myrna's in Anchorage, Alaska in early May 2009. She described it as Techno Gothic and invited me to photograph it. I did so with some trepidation since I had no idea what I was getting myself into - but it was a blast. From what I can tell, Techno Gothic equates to Gothic with loud colors and attachments such as gas masks. I learn something new every day!"
