The celebration occurs on November 1st and 2nd in connection with the Catholic holiday of, All Saints' Day, which occurs on November 1st and All Souls' Day which occurs on November 2nd. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting, graves, Scholars trace the origins of the modern holiday to indigenous observances dating back thousands of years, and to an, Aztec festival, dedicated to a goddess called, Mictecacihuatl, Similar holidays; Dia de Finados, in Brazil, where many Brazilians celebrate by visiting cemeteries and churches. Sugar skulls are gifts that can be given to both the living and the dead. "For Halloween I wanted a costume that people wore in the past before the packaged costumes that are consumed by masses today. After a little research I came upon the Pierrotte, a sad clown that was used as a stock character of mime and Commedia dell'Arte. I saw pictures of this clown everywhere - it was the hippie costume of its time! My location in this picture, the Exorcist Steps in Georgetown, D.C.

This is the Mobius Tattoo. A scientific calculation that can be used in Astrophysics to describe a closed system if gravity is strong enough to bend spacetime into a loop. Basically meaning that if you travel far enough, you will end up where you began without really knowing it.
This is my first Tattoo and it turned out great. This is on the inside of my Right Bicep. I will be adding another space or scientific tattoo to my other bicep next year. And yes... certain parts of the Tattoo process hurt like a son of a gun...Look at the note to where it hurt a lot. :)"
